The kids are taking swimming lessons this week at the YMCA. It's a freebie they offer every April during the school break. On Tuesday, one of the instructors asked "does anyone have a pool in their backyard?" Look who raised his hand. He must have been thinking of the dogs' bowl of water ......... or something like that!

Ooooh, we need those butt floaty things! My girl can swim under water but can't stay afloat to save herself! Poor dear, doesn't have enough fat to float!

We had a house with a pool once, when I was in junior high. It was the only time in my entire childhood that I was popular.
