Ana's recital

Yesterday Ana had a violin recital. After 10 months of Suzuki "twinkles," (learning all the rhythms to the tune of "Twinkle, twinkle, little star"), she has graduated! Her teacher assigned her the first "real" song in book 1 and I wrote out the fingering on a piece of paper for Ana. She has played her new song over and over, so happy to be playing a "big kid" song!

Oh Suzie wait until you hear it! It's called "Lightly row" and she is SO into it. She practices it every day. Frances also knows the duet part so they are TRYING to play it together. I'll tell them that you expect a concert!

Tell me more. We have the twins starting in Feb (will be 3 in March) for the Suzuki method violin classes.
Well, they start with an ice breaker that helps them grasp Suzuki method by age 4. We bought them violins in China. My cousin is a concert violinist, and we adore the instrument.
Please I'd love to have suggestions on/offline aboutit! She looks gorgeous too.
